following the Biggest Loser plan. using the 4321 pyramid you are allowed 3 proteins. And the book says to eat one serving at each meal. And also says to eat 1/2 serving at each snack. that adds up to four. I'm a little confused. Anyone else having success with this. I'm hopeful.

In my BL books, it says, "You can divide your protein however you like throughout the day; just make sure you eat some at each meal and that you reach your total of 24 ounces each day."
Hope that helps!

According to the Food Pyramid - you should have 2 to 3 servings of Meat protein each day. AND you should have 2 servings of Dairy protein each day.
A serving of meat would be 2 to 3 ounces of lean, cooked meat or poultry or 5 to 7 ounces of fish. You can count as 1/3 serving of Meat protein = 1 egg, 1/2 cup cooked legumes, 4 ounces tofu, 2 tablespoons nuts, seed or peanut butter.
A serving of dairy protein would = 1 cup low-fat milk or yogurt, 2 ounces processed cheese food; or 1.5 ounces cheese.
So what I recommend is saving your meat proteins for breakfast, lunch and dinner - and your dairy proteins for snacks.
