It was HOT today, but I did 4 miles! Even though my clothes were melted to me when I was done it was satisfying when I finished. I've been doing cardio dance, bike riding, and crunches on a semi regular basis. With most of my recent distractions out of teh way and three walking partners now, one in the morning, one around lunch time, and the afternoon ones I squeeze in with my family mu numbers should jump. Especially when you add the non walking parts of my routine in.I have teh new additions down for the chalenge you will see your names when I update everyones data. I hope to be able to log in here a bit more now too.

BTW if anger burned calories and counted I would have logged some watching this weeks episode of TBL!! =0

WhOo Hooo Here we are the end of week two. I feel back in the groove, just took a while to get there. It was a lovely day outside so I went to the park for a long relaxing walk with my family, even did a bit of running, which was not an easy task for me. We did see a snake which was our turn around point and a motivater. After we made our way back to the parking area we concluded the day with a nice high paced game of freeze tag. I am happy to report that even though my boys targeted me because mom ios out of shape and an easy tag I did manage to out run them 80% of the time~ Thats my personel win this week!!

Well, I'm still a little behind... I was hoping to catch up this week, but at least I did much more than I would have if I hadn't had this challenge to motivate me! Thanks for the push, and keep up the great work, everyone!

Boy - I'm going to have to get my rear in gear this week!! I feel like I didn't move enough last week, but I guess being down with the flu for a few days didn't really help any.....I have to give myself a break!!

It's Canadian Thanksgiving next Monday, and I can't wait! Every year my family goes apple picking at the same orchard, and that means lots of tree climbing and walking, usually followed by a walk in the woods with our dogs (a pug, a bernese mountain dog cross, and a german shepherd). Lots of excercise!!

Have a great day ladies!!

well, this week sounds like everyone did better than last even.. thats what I like to see! I have ran three days in a row now, no not a mile yet but in spurts, I made it about 1/4 of a mile then walked a bit, ran, walked,.. thats so much more that I have ever been able to do before!! Thanks for the motivation yall. I'm updating the weekly hours as we speak. I encourage all of you to stop in and log a moment, maybe some of what you have been doing, your mini successes, that motivates all of us, even a simple win can be a big victory. Keep those tickers moving, you arent behind untill you give up!

As much as I would love to say I'm at 11 hours, you accidentally grabbed the data from my weight loss ticker, not the Power Hours ticker. Sorry.

I've been sick, so I'm only at 1 hour, but tomorrow I'm going to start easing back into to working out, and then you should see my number jumping up pretty fast. I have some catching up to do, but I plan to absolutely do it.

I weighed in today and had a gain of one pound from last week, but I'm still down from two weeks ago. And considering I've been sick and pretty much bed ridden for 10 days, I'm totally ok with that.

All my tickers have been updated to reflect todays data. Have a great week everybody, remember to keep moving. tongue.gif

Even though I managed to lose 1 pound, when it came to working out last week I had motivational issues ... however, I've started off this week with a bang! Jogging/Walking for SIXTY MINUTES yesterday & today. The jogging part is getting better (longer) and today I registered for a 2 mile cross country halloween race on 10/24. My other work-out activity is yoga after work. 20 minutes so far but hoping to increase that tomorrow or Thursday. I'm loving this challenge!

Yay everyone and congrats on all the weigh-ins!!

I'll be adding more time to my dailies - my puppy has started chewing everything in sight and the verdict from the vet (my sister's a tech at a vet clinic so I have in house advice!) is that she's not getting enough excercise and has pent up energy to burn.....so that means momma gets to burn more energy too!! wink.gif

Keep up the great work ladies - and to all the sickies out there - get well soon!

Uggh. I have not been exercising nearly as often as I should be. I'm bullheaded enough though to try and get caught up. A few days ago I did follow Bob for 22 minutes and then Jillian for another 22. I'm not very confident when doing the lunges so right now I'm not sinking deep down but I'll get there.

Just gotta concentrate on getting back into doing daily exercise.

Dang it! I was doing so well this week but somehow I injured my left foot while I was jogging yesterday. Bad enough that I still can barely put any weight on it. So it looks like I'll have to take a few days to recover. Hopefully I'll be back in business by Monday morning. Sweat on!

I havent been able to do anything all last week, I have a respitory infection, whenIi take a breath it hurts, tried using the bike but it didnt go so well, I started coughing and the wheezing just made it impossable to do anything. That just means when I get over this I have to work that much harder, its not helping that its rained here everyday for the last few weeks.
Anyway, the updated times are a bit delayed for the same reason, but i'm on it now =) Great week for everyone else though!!

Grrr ... this foot injury has kept me from working out this week. However, I'm hoping to be able to do some walking & yoga tomorrow. I don't want anyone to think I'm dropping out from the challenge just beause my numbers didn't change this week. Next week will be better!

Although my left foot is still not 100% "normal", at least I'm able to work out this week. I've been sticking with the elliptical all week because the doc said the jogging was "too stressfull" and will "inhibit recovery". Unfortunately, I'm going to completely ignore the doctor on Saturday. I'm entered in a 2 mile cross country run (in Halloween costumes no less) and there's no way I'm missing that! Hope everyone else is having a great week!

I've been horrible about updating my ticker-sorry.It's accurate now though and I'll try to keep on top of it. I also ordered the wave, but it hasn't come yet sad.gif Can't wait to try it out. My gym is all set up in the attic now-needing to hook up more electrical boxes, but for now, it'll do. Getting plenty of exercise with my little cheerleaders lately-it's championship time--the big (and last) game is this Saturday, and their basketball season starts in December. I was also asked to cheer this summer for mud-football. LOL Hope these old knees hold out!!!(it would be really nice if the scale would MOVE too)

Is this challenge still on?? My team is starting one also, so I was just wondering whether to do away with the ticker from this one since there hasn't been any communication on the challenge for a while.
